NWBIO 2012

Everett Community College is pleased to host NWBIO 2012 on April 27-29

We are putting together a program of interest to all college and high school biology teachers in the Pacific Northwest.

Guest Speakers:

  • Scott Freeman, U.W. master teacher and author of the Biological Science text
  • Matt Kaeberlein, U.W. researcher on the Molecular Mechanisms of Aging

Workshops: Have you developed a successful teaching tool or new course? Used research in your classes or learned something from your own research?  Consider presenting a one-hour workshop about it at the conference.  Contact Fayla, fschwartz@everettcc.edu for more information

Field Trips: The Everett area is close to marine, wetland, forest and prairie ecosystems.  You will have the option to attend one of  several Saturday afternoon field trips to these natural areas.

Saturday Evening Banquet at the Everett Marina

Registration: Probably $125 per person. Registration materials will be available in January 2012.

More Information: fschwartz@everettcc.edu. 425-388-9451
